Feather steak (AKA Flat Iron steak) Extra Virgin Olive Oil Butter Garlic Herbs (rosemary or your choice)

rest the steak
Leave the steak out of the fridge for an hour at room temperature before cooking.
rub the steak
Rub the steak all over with a good amount of olive oil and a sizable pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
Add steak to sizzling pan
1. Add the steak to the (very, very) hot pan coated with olive oil. Then cook for 6 minutes for medium-rare, turning every minute.
rest for 2 mins
Once cooked to your liking, rest the steak on a plate for 2 minutes (and make sure you collect all the juices). Whip with some herbs.
Cut the steak with a carving knife.
Drizzle juices on top and serve alongside your choice of vegetables or potato.
